What we do

We offer lots of choice to a really wide range of individuals – from people with complex needs all the way to people living independently. At the same time we’re becoming more joined up and responsive to what our customers want. Whether they are looking for a place to live, support in their daily lives, assistance in finding a job or a combination of all these things and more, they should be able to pick and choose what suits them.

The breadth of services that we offer is unique and growing. Our main areas are Housing, Support and Employment but we do much more than this to provide services to our customers. We help people to get into work, train people how to stay safe, advise people on the best way to plan and choose their support, and help people take the first steps towards becoming homeowners. We offer a range of community based activities to customers in different areas of the country including art and music workshops, sports and social activities, volunteering and coaching. we make certain our customers have their say in how Advance is run through our network of regional and national forums run by and for our customers.

Where we don’t have all the answers, we point people in the right direction or team up with other organisations, learning and getting better at providing what people want along the way.
